As far as clitoral vibrators go, wands dominate a lot of the playing field—and for good reason. They are super easy to hold, cover a lot of surface area (so a partner holding it down on you is way more likely to hit your clit), and have even reached the Sex and the City Hall of Fame after Samantha mistook one for a neck massager (which, to be fair, a lot of these vibes CAN legitimately help you with too).
But where to start, right? Should you shell out for a super-strong full-size wand or a bitsy bb to stash in your bag? Well, this list can help you narrow down your options...but TBH, it’ll probably make you wanna buy every damn one.
1. Magic Wand Rechargeable.
The wand that started it all! The Hitachi has been a best seller for more than 30 years, so you know it’s the real deal. Made of vinyl and hard plastic, it weighs just a little over three pounds and is about a foot long, and while the original one was corded, the newer version is rechargeable with multiple vibration settings and patterns. (Note: There are only two settings on that one though: strong and STRONG AF.)
Basically, if you’re going to start your wand vibrator journey, you must, MUST try this. It’s a sex-drawer staple.
